Student/Visitor

What's on TV라는 코스도 듣는 사람이 있는 것 같다.

My first activity in Vancouver

2 weeks ago, Jane told us that playing bowling on wednesday. I hadn't played bowling for ages.
after morning class I went to our class room. there were some students waiting for Jane. few minute later, We started to the Lanes.
when I arrived the Lanes, I was very surprised because balls are small and pins are just 5. I had never played. and Lights were like a club. so dark and some stage lighting.
I was mesmerizing my self. 'Just for fun. don't panic'
in the end I had a good time.

  - (2) had + p.p, (3) past

It was early morning. I was driving all night to get to Sheila before she could leave for South America.

I got to the hotel at 6 a.m. I checked that Sheila hadn't returned from the nightclub and I went up to her room.

As I was going upstairs, I heard someone else going to the desk.
I wondered if someone had followed me to the hotel. I waited to see who it was, but after a few words with the clerk, they just left again.

When I was sure they had gone, I slipped into Sheila's room. As she wasn't there, I had plenty of time to prepare

When Sheila came in, I was waiting for her.

She didn't look surprised when she saw me. Someone had told her to expect me.

She gave me a drink. I drank it. I felt a pain in my stomach and fell on the floor.

'Now you'll never tell anyone that I killed Floosie Moore,' she said. But it wasn't important; she had confessed and I had hidden microphones all over the room.

ex) Fill in the blanks
I will never forget the worst summer vacation of my life. My parents (1:decide) to go to florida with the six children in our family because they (2:go/never) there before. We all (3:wake up) early the morning we were supposed to leave. My mother (4:pack) all the bags and (5:make) a picnic lunch for for all of us. We (6:pile) into the station wagon amid luggage, beach balls, and coolers. It (7:be) a sweltering day. Unfortunately, the air-conditioning in our car (8:break) the day before and my father (9:have/not) time to fix it before we (10:leave).
I remember that it was hot, hot, hot. The heat never let up as long as we were on the road. By the time we (11:arrive) at our destination, we (12:lose) our patience and our enthusiasm for the trip. And our bad luck continued. The city (13:issue) a beach warning because a shark (14:attack) a girl two days before we arrived. My mother wouldn't let any of us go in the water. To top it off, we had to leave Florida early because of a hurricane watch. When I (15:think) about that trip today, I can finally laugh. Needless to say, I (16:go/never) back to Florida since that vacation!
